The airport is third largest hub for Northwest Airlines, it is also FedEx's Hub for passenger freight carrierm and finally it is the hub for United Parcel Service's. The number of flights to and from the airport was 387,968 on 2004. There are 3 terminals, A, B and C. The airport has 3 concrete and 1 asphalt runway. The airports current terminal was build on 1963. Memphis Municipal changed the airport name to Memphis International in 1969. The restroom is located in the main terminal, close to Backyard Burger. The Dorothy L. Bobbitt Health Station is open daily Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. There are also 25 Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) connected to the alarm systems and installed in the three (3) terminals. Their location is given in the Terminal Directory Map with sign of Red Hearts. There are also Fire Department ambulance, trauma kits located throughout the Airport.
